Heart centred therapy – one client at a time
At Solas Mental Health Services I use a Holistic approach to psychotherapy. I have training in traditional talk therapy and experiential therapy (meditation, visualization, and guided imagery). I use a client-centered approach and sessions are based on your individual wants and needs. I do not believe there is a one size fits all approach to therapy.
WHY GO TO SEE A PSYCHOTHERAPIST?
People go to therapy for a variety of reasons. You may be experiencing a specific issue or concern you want help with or life may be just not working for you, as is. You may be trying hard to live a fulfilling, satisfying life but are weighed down by feelings of low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, or burnout - but you don't know how to change it.
We will work collaboratively, through the process of therapy you will learn more about yourself, who you are, who you are not, what narrative you are telling yourself - and is it even true.
You will also learn skills to use in your life, skills that are tailored to you and your wants and needs, skills that will aid you in living the life you want.
